Colon Health

Many of us focus on the need to supplement our diet with the right vitamins and minerals that our bodies need, but fail to recognize the fundamentals for a good health.
It is my belief, that the motor of our bodies is not the heart. But our colon, because it is there where everything is processed to give your body either health or illness. That's where the saying you are what you eat makes sense.
It is true that all our organs are important, but the reason why the colon is so important is because most diseases begin in the colon. If you eat junk, your colon will get clogged, much like the mechanism of a motor when you don't do an oil change to your car for tens of thousands of miles and expect it to run at peak performance.

What are some symptoms of an unhealthy colon?
Skin blemishes, headaches, joint and muscle pain, weight problems, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, allergies, sexual performance problems, fatigue, and chronic fatigue are some of the problems you could be encountering if you have sick colon. Some women may suffer from infertility problems due to the weight of the colon falling on top of the uterus becaus of the excessive fecal matter that deforms and makes your colon sag and cause pressure to the organs and in the case of men, to the prostate.

Why does your colon get sick?
Well, where do I start? There are so many factors that affect our colon health.
But everything has to do with what you put in your mouth. You choose the fuel and your body processes it to the best of its abilities. If you are building a house and you build it with the cheapest materials you can find, and you make the walls with paper and the columns with rotten wood instead of steal, what can we expect about the durability of that house?
The same goes with the nutrition we give our bodies. If you eat foods that are loaded with antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, herbicides, and all kinds of chemicals that are allowed these days to go into our foods, then the expectations for a good health are next to none.
Our bodies were made to have harmony with nature, therefore it makes sense to follow the path that makes the most sense. We were not made to consume high fructose corn syrup, which is the sweetener of most softdrinks and juices, because high fructose corn syrup is derived from a genetically modified product.
I don't know about you, but I would let the gene work to nature instead of the hand of man.
But anyway that is another subject.
The buttom line is, if your diet is deficient in fiber and loaded with sugars and symple carbohydrates, and chemicals your chances of being healthy are slim.

What to do if you have a sick colon?
Well, if it is dirty clean it!!
Everyone of us should at least have our colon cleansed at least twice a year.
There are different products in the market which you can do wonders, but you need to do your own research and find out which one fits your budget and works best for you.
A few years ago, I used to suffer terribly from severe heartburns and went to a specialist who prescribed me a cocktail of antibiotics and acid reducers, but my symptoms got only worse.
I asked the doctor what were my options, to which he replied , either have a surgery or take drugs for the rest of your life. I said to myself, there's got to be another way around this.
So I decided to look into the natural side of medicine and found out that all I had to do is a colon cleanse and changed my died from conventional to organic and my problems went away forever.
If you have a problem, don't patch it, take care of the root of the problem instead.
